Recording artist and songwriter Joey Holiday performs for truck driving audiences nationwide.
Although he has sung for thousands of truckers, the first drivers he met were in his own family. My uncle was a full-time truck driver, said the Montgomery, AL native. My daddy also drove for a while. Joey’s mother taught him three guitar chords as a boy and he has combined his love of music with his respect for trucking. From Music City USA, he tours the country playing his own brand of trucking music. His 40 albums have sold briskly and his shows are hits at truck stops and major trucking events.
Opening for country great Waylon Jennings at TruckerFest ’99 in Sparks, NV is among the highlights of Joey’s career. He also had the wonderful opportunity to open for Neal McCoy & Collin Raye in Sparks, NV at Trucker fest 2000. He has also performed at such nationally recognized events as the Mid America Truck Show (Louisville, KY) and Shell Superrigs Show (Walcott, IA). Joey also performed for the National Special Olympics in Ames, Iowa in July 2006.
